FORMAT:  (Bracket Set-Up) Double Elimination Match Play

                        Final Match Completed over 36 Holes

                        Consolation Final Match Completed over 18 Holes

 

ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all players (Black Creek Members and Public) with an established 2008 GHIN Handicap.  Must have 10 scores from 2008 entered by registration deadline.

 

RULES: 

**  Match will play off of the low handicap in the match.  (Example:  Player A is a 12 hdcp and Player B is a 16 hdcp.  Player A would play to a zero (0) and Player B would get 4 strokes.  Player B would get a stroke on handicap holes #13, #14, #15 and #16 for his four strokes)

 

**  Players would have a certain time frame to get together to complete their match.  The  match can be completed any time prior to deadline.  If match is not completed, a coin flip will decide which player goes to the consolation bracket.  The loser of the coin flip will be out of the event.

 

**  Ties would go to extra holes until Sudden Victory is achieved.

 

**  USGA Rules apply.

 

**  Based on a full field of 64 players, the first round match cannot be started prior to

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008 and the deadline to complete each round would be as follows:
